Thank you Doreen for suggesting to Sheila to contact NRAS. I did not get back on on Friday, but saw you message on Saturday. I too contacted NRAS and left my phone numbers for Sheila. Gail called her and we had a lovely afternoon today and are meeting up for a meal later in the week.

Hi Lorna,

I'm so glad you managed to meet up with Sheila, I thought I might have been too late with my suggestion .
NRAS will always pass on our details to others if we request it, it's much safer than posting them on here.
I bet you were nonstop chattering as if you'd known each other all your lives!

Hi Doreen,

Sheila had her son check the forum to see if I had replied. He gave her the messages that she missed, I had called Nras in the morning and had Gail call her with my number, Sheila was about to call Nras to reach me. We did have a lovely 'blether' Smile like we were old friends. We are all looking forward to going for a meal on Thursday, the restaurant sounds lovely and has been highly recommended online. Lets hope the sun shines for us and we have a super evening.

Got back home 1 hour ago. Thanks for your input re: contacting Lorna. You were right about chatting like old friends. We had a great time and I met her lovely family. We had a great evening out on thursday. The food was excellent. I am sure we will keep in touch.

I am hoping to meet others at the 10 birthday 'do'. Are you going? I must send for some tickets tomorrow. Hope we are not too late.

I have lots to catch up on the forum. Will read them all tomorrow.

Hi Sheila,

Glad you had a good holiday and were able to meet up with Lorna, sounds like you got on so well together.
No, I won't be going to the NRAS lunch, I would need my husband as "chauffeur" but he works during the week, but I hope you manage to get tickets and enjoy meeting with others.
